Hi. I’m so happy to finally be on spring break right now! It’s been so long since I’ve had this much time ahead of me to do absolutely nothing. I mean, I might do nothing at school, but during that time I have things that I’m actually supposed to be doing. But now I’m freeeeee. Until real life starts again on Saturday :( ugh.

So, I’m sure you’d love to hear a little bit of chelsea’s wisdom. I’ve just been doing a lot of thinking this week and I feel like telling someone. Ok, so shit happens to you all the time that you’d never expect to happen.. kind of like what happened this week to me, but whatever. People turn out to be someone you’d never expect them to be. When you meet someone and talk to them, you think you’ve got them all figured out after about 10 minutes into knowing them. By then you’ve decided you either want to be their friend, their enemy, or their lover. But then after awhile, things may change. You may find friendship in someone you never would have expected, or maybe the person you thought you liked turns out to be not such a great person. You never know. It’s such a weird concept, but you will never really know everything about a person.. ever. I mean I’m still learning new things about my parents all the time… the people I’ve known for my entire life! That’s crazy to me.

So anyway, I’m sure everyone has heard the saying “Never judge a book by its cover.” Well, that’s obviously a good saying and you’d be pretty ignorant if you did judge someone that fast. But from what I’ve learned recently, you really shouldn’t judge anyone by their cover, the first few chapters.. actually, when you finish their book, I suggest you ask for the next volume in the series because you really can’t judge anyone or know who they are until you know everything about who they are, where they came from, and where they’re going. It takes time to get to know who someone really is, but if everyone took the time to do so, they could avoid a lot of heartbreak, broken promises, lost friendships and other messy situations. They also might be able to find a friend in a place they never thought to look.

Think about it.
